Post by Captain Chaos »

Off to the body shop tomorrow😁. Got a new screen and rubber,a set of Indy racing slot mags from summit and some new brakes in addition to the stuff pictured. Probably going with Nissan Copper Blaze as the colour but have a few shades to choose from....Excited 🤪

I think that scene peaked very early before descending into the Dolphin van mobile tat shop I’m a not right and proud of it morass that it is now. The VW guys seem to have spread their wings a bit and brought it back to how it was.

Tried my hand and improving these rather unsuccessfully. I’ve been quoted £200 to get them rechromed, seems a touch dear, any opinions?

Those look fine to me, I'd use them as is. Just found out this week US wheel are making slot mags again.

I’ve tried using enamel paint and try as I might it doesn’t dry flat, tried flatting back but it just makes it worse.

I might give it one more go masking and spraying.
