yes

you could get a high end valiant ute

or a basic dodge ute

all based on the sedan design for that year

think the AP5 was the first

we also had a few imported here officially they would be VE onwards

Plenty of Valiant utes in Oz, the VF VG were used as mules for testing the running gear for the race chargers.https://www.pinterest.ie/pin/4412120947 ... 1/?lp=true

They did utes right up to CM in 1981 and a panel van as well, with a limited edition called the Drifter
