I'll let Dave fill in the background info to this little get together, but suffice to say it was a great, sunny afternoon on Saturday with a few familiar, and some not so familiar faces (likewise the cars and bikes). Nice and local too
Cheers Dave

Sorry I missed this but only got the txt fri night and sat was booked
Looks like good little get together.
PS - Mk2 escort with an S2000 lump ? Looks like an s2000 anyway - might be k20 integraR I suppose. Either way - 220to240 bhp in a 9,000 rpm screaming vtec under the bonnet of a 900kg mk2 ? That must be AWESOME - what a conversion !

Again, Dave can fill in the gaps, but the guy who owns the Escort with the Honda engine used to own the 'GBH' 70 roadrunner that Dunc used to have...
And yes that Mk2 was a good looking conversion but it didnt sound as good as a more traditional twin-carb engine

Thanks Rob for posting some great pictures and a huge thanks to Dave and Mark for organising a fantastic meet. A big thank you also to Frank for bringing ice creams for all,
It sure was hot.
Is James holding his belly in for that photo ?
