Once I had machine the long slot I installed a thin semi translucent (milky) strip of polycarbonate...

This panel will be screwed to the ceiling upside down and control all functions of the truck

LED technology is getting better every day but 24v is still where the price point is for commercial grade chip sets
I mounted chip strings onto aluminium and then placed this behind the polycarbonate strips for a beam of light affect
The system is using a 12v to 24v step up invertor but as LED pull very little current this is tiny.
Went a little over kill on the LED front with 120 x per meter = 600x 2835 LED chips producing 2735 Lumens
My interior now looks like 2 x lightsabers left hanging by a Jedi so I installed a dimmer system which works really well from 0-2735 Lumens
Got to be different !

a mate had a cummins and manual box from a leyland roadrunner 7.5 tonner in his f150 and it was surprisingly smooth. monster torque!

Yep going to recess a section on the bulkhead once front panel is bolted in place / wings / then bring Cab forward.

Big thanks to Mr R.Runner for the call today explaining that my intercooler set up on front looks silly a I should count a few rivets and keep the original face.
