Just asked again this year but still told no to race my race my falcon at this event unless I ditch my endless supply of used slicks and buy some dot approved hooiser tyres which are 99 slick but cost the earth..................... but rules are rules

sorry nopete as not wanting to be a tight wad but £1400 for a set of 4 tyres which you must have 2 sets in case u flat spot a set = too much dollar for one event

d love to race there at speedfest ! a normal race meeting at brand hatch for me involves been parked next too many honda and subaru race cars with the odd porsche or capri there...........

unless you can get dell to ask bernie to change the rules....

Cheng helps to set the rules, and I can ask but I do not think there will be a change regarding tyres... it's a great leveller.

We have the same issue with an FIA Mustang we manage, it can only use period tyres, not the Avons it currently has.......

Ive just asked him but please feel free to pester him................ id love too join you there and do there round at spa
They let the modern white mustang win on full slicks in 2017, maybe a mistake on there behalf, but ive been told no every year since it started
