Yes, the Persaker car was the old Hauser (the old Rossi!) car.

Thanks Gav, know what you mean! I got some very vivid memories of those times, especially the old Gary's Picnic & Doorslammer events.

Just found the one more to put on here from the 85 Finals, that's Paul's CH in which he entered the Sportsman class...

that was one thing i could not believe on arnos coronet ravin mint car but under the hood was terrible painted orange over crap and all the wiper mtr servo etc,

Know what you mean about the engine bay Dunc, reminds me of when Mr Bean painted his livin room by putting fireworks in a tin of paint....

As for that Dart, seems to launch hard enough if the pics anything to go by, but wouldnt have any idea of times. Those Scandinavians always had some impressive kit and dont think they went in for the 'no go show boat' concept.

no i dident mean really no go, but back then the cars were a lot slower on some really impressive engines than now, it looks like it should be running mid nines with that mtr but,

Yes, that Dart was running well into the 9's, pulled more top end MPH than you would expect for the ET too, all those Swedish cars did, they seemed to have 'em set up that way, you'd think you'd got 'em beating 'em off the line, then at half track they blast past you, alway's impressive!
