Love these
I spent a lot of time in France and Germany as a lad and these were a refreshing antidote to our Cortinas. Looking forward to seeing the thread develop.

i had one of those years ago. i put a v6 in it and slammed it to the floor with 2.8 capri wheels squeezed under the arches. also adapted an xr3i interior into it.
strange combo of mk3 and mk4 styling but a good looking car imo.
neil.

I do like these now, I didn't in the past. Don't know why?
Before I dug into my mk3 tina, I looked to see if I could find a RHD saloon 2 door but alas no.
Are you keeping it standard?
Nice colour fern green

I always kinda liked these, and the Opel Commodore Coupe from around the same period. This should be easier to get parts for though....

Apologise for neglecting this thread, i'l put some more pics up tomorrow, almost done the rear metal work, got pulled off the job, as a couple of our buss'es had big damage as soon as the kids went back to school, our drivers must have forgotten how to drive while on furlough!

I saw this Taunus a couple of years ago at my local(ish) Alfa garage, owned by one of the guys there. Never seen one like this - I thought they were all Cortina-variants!
