Was it ever in doubt?
That’s more progress in a day than I’ve posted in the last few months.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Prop loop made and fitted, bolts are tacked in from the top for easy removal. I consider this an essential if you are going down the track, certainly saved some damage when my yoke let go.

Good idea on welding the bolts, saves struggling when trying to take it off in your own

Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger
It’s a nice rust free car but it has been in the wars as it turns out. Rear drivers chassis rail had taken a hit and was properly mangled. Section cut out reworked and welded back in, still looks a bit Frankenstein until I properly Bananarama!.

Passenger side spring mount has also taken a hit so that will be attended to in due course.

that's going to feel nice a solid and planted next time its driven.....
It great when you get something done and you can feel the positive impact as soon as you drive it.
it will be like vanishing point without the drugs and naked cycling on the drive home...
just be careful if there are road works

Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger
Damage chopped out, bashed straight and welded back in. One Torque box made, just needs final trimming before welding in.

Be careful Stu, he's started on the weight reduction...could be some more holes coming ..
if you think speed kills don't get on a plane
Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger
I’ve just ordered a large box of holes….

Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger
Behave.
There is strategic weight loss, but no big holes.
You might be shocked, it’ll still have a heater!
