Working on flatting the sides now. In the meantime, out with the old and in with the new! Do I really need those gators?

Yea unless you’re going off roading there’s no need.

:rr:

Well, being a bit more brutal than I was comfortable with has made space for the hanger, or much clearance to those pipes though. :-k

I’m thinking this may be the time to think about dropping the tank a redoing the fuel lines. Lines are basically sat on the top of the hanger.

I think my 'Cuda routed slightly differently ,but the Killer was clearance for the Spring Bolt / Nut head with the Lines on the outboard side; you need to check that too with a bolt inserted before you go any further....

I also had to mock the ride height up too, as you have a choice of Spring position.

I initially opted for "1" Higher" and it looked comical, and I had to do the front eyes and hangers all over again...

Yes, both things considered, cheers. :thumbright:

To be fair, I was also going to go highest position, but Blue had already slapped me in the right direction, or I’d have been looking Hot Wheels too.

Just about to fit, reckon the top hole is loads more arch already when you view it like this, so glad to have had the advice!

Anyone know torque specs for the front hanger nuts? Manual says 30ft/lbs, assume no difference for SS hangers?

I would follow the factory settings - after all, I don't think the gauge of the SS Hanger studs are any bigger than stock....

Currently foiled by the fact that the top shock fitting is wider on the new shocks, so can’t get it located. :working: :banghead:

I fitted the same Shocks and they should go in, you may just need to jiggle it, Granville; or flex the mounting bracket for clearance Clarence...

No, we’re not talking jiggling and a tiny bit out, we’re talking there’s no Bananarama! way that going in there. I’ve measured the old vs new and they are quite a bit different, not to mention solid bush vs rubber.

Think the big file needs to come out.
