Steering box back in after changing the pitman arm and seals. Upper arms re bushed with offset items in an attempt to gain some caster.

Front end assembled with all new bushes and ball joints, I’m using Challenger spindles to convert to disc brakes.

Yes it is, you just need the right combination of parts.

Just need to find the dust caps and sort the brake hoses and that’s that bit done, the calipers are ‘73 Charger and the rest of it is Challenger.

Bottom column bush was mostly missing so I got a piece of nylon off eBay and Royden kindly spun me a new one up on his lathe.

That’s an excellent conversion, you learn something new every day. :read2:

Enjoying watching the progress, it’s an interesting build. :thumbright:

The Aeroquip Hoses I got with the calipers are not going to work in this application, I’ve ordered some banjo fittings that should fit in the tight space.

It’s tight but banjo bolts do the trick, we have brakes!

Added some 15” wheels on the front with tall tyres, chrome acorn nuts break it up a bit. Waiting for a handbrake cable, the exhaust system and a new set of plugs before I can finish. No doubt there will be the usual debugging to do once it’s mobile.

Great work Blue, the plucked chicken is looking real good. Great colour combo, the black & blue. I imagine quite rare?
