After 4 yrs of issue after issue I was finally hope to use my Dart having only driven a total of 5 miles and moving it out of the way for the window cleaner.
Couple of weeks ago noticed more fluid on the ground than usual and saw water dripping out of a block core plug. Never done one thought oh YouTube makes look easy.
How wrong was I tried to tap it out and the photo is the result minimal room and also noticed the one by the starter has gone too... Is there a special method to this or does the engine have to come out to get the room?? Advice needed....

you could struggle and replace the 2 you can see that are gone. but if 2 are gone that bad it's a fair bet the others aren't far behind, including ones you can't see or change in situ. on the block there's 3 each side, 2 at the front and 2 at the rear. plus 1 each end of the cylinder heads. looking how bad the one in your pics is i'd bite the bullet and pull the engine to do them all. once it's out they're easy to do., there's details here....

Taking the engine out isn't an option unfortunately. I don't have the equipment nor the skill to take the engine out ....

It really is "Spin the Bottle" time, as the Rear Core plugs are Engine out if ever they leak.
The usual trick is bash one side in with a cold Chisel and then use Parrot Jaws to yank it out, but be very careful in case it drops into the Water Jacket...
Brass Pugs are the best, smear them with Silicon before inserting, and do not knock them in too deep.
Jim Smith is a good guy and is relatively near you.
