After years of lurking and boring the hell out of my work mates I finally did it. Last year I bought a 1968 Chrysler 300 two door. It appears the C body is rather unloved compared to the other models.

Now the questions. If anyone knows anything about either the previous owners or the history of the car can you please contact me. Especially how it took pride of place at the 2019 NEC classic car show. Also, can anyone recommend a Leicestershire / East Midlands based workshop / specialist?

Lovely car. Used to belong to a friend of mine called Terry who lived in Nuneaton. It did the rounds a lot at Midlands Car Shows including the NEC. I cant remember the history prior to Terry owning her unfortunately. Great looking C body :thumbright:

Steve, would you happen to know who looked after it for him? If not, could you find out please.

My friend Ian sold that a couple of years ago. Look for Ian Charles on Facebook.

Im not sure who looked after it mechanically but can find out. Terry did a bit here and there on his cars but not everything. It featured at the NEC as Terry was one of a handful of us who were early members of the now massive Midlands based 'Coleshill Breakfast Club' car club about 10 years ago. The club was eventually offered a stand at the NEC hence the cars appearance (usually next to our stand). A very nice guy and really into lots of different stuff :thumbright:

Spoke to someone who also knows Terry and is in touch at shows who says he thinks Terry would have done anything it needed himself. Mechanics and garages that work on old cars are apparently becoming few and far between in the Midlands and Terry is a competent guy.

He (not Terry) saw your car at Brooklands too and was speaking to the owner who had apparently had a fair bit of work done to her before selling on. Not much help I know....sorry.

Enjoy her, a great looking car with a ton of presence on the road :thumbright:
