A great place to visit , I am going back again later in the year for a longer look round.
Visit to billing on the way home aborted due to rain hailstones and snow as we got there, but we did see lots of cars as they went home
Thanks again to Skippy for a lift in the Dart and his cool driving when the car overtaking us on the A14 had a blowout on its car trailer

sending lumps of rubber at us

Nice work Guy.....looking at those I just realised how many cars i missed while we were looking round the museum, they must have all gone home by the time we got back to the car park

Heres the pic of that Mosquito we looked at earlier, definately got to get a wider angle for mine, you got a good two feet or so either side

A cracking day! Excellent venue for a car meet as well, lots to see and do, we'll be doing this again I reckon. Enjoyed looking aroung the hangers where planes are being rebuilt or in some cases, totally recreated from scratch, you can really see how much work goes into it and it's phenominal. Got upclose and personal with the Blackbird, didn't realise quite how big they are, although the B52 dwarfed everything, the hanger was obviously scaled around it, wing tips almost touching the sides and tailfin just clearing the ceiling. I bet Guy got a picture of the Beaufighter cockpit....
