Some more oldies here, back when the Damn Yankees meet was about the 1st show of the year, at Blake Hall, Ongar, not far from North Weald where the event is now held.
Any ideas??

I would have to see the vin on that Cuda to be convinced it was a Kingston car as far as I am aware all the Kingston cars were registered over here in 1978 and would be on a 'T' plate I could not see how it would end up on on an 'X' but I may be wrong!!

That yellow beeper is still around, had a little face lift since then. Saw it at the last Thorney show

Guy, I remember looking around that car and hearing others (prob the bloke in the pic with the fag) talking about the fact that the car had been at a dealers for a while and had only done something like 5000 miles. I think there was something else said also that made me think back to that car years later when I heard the term 'Kingston cuda/Kingston car'.
For me to say it was a Kingston car is a bit of an assumption but its history certainly has some similarities as far a I recall!

The orange 71 R/T came up to the Edinburgh area early nineties, then rotted badly.

I am sure the last time I spoke to Chris Cockburn, it was still up here. Next time I see him, I will ask.
