Let me know how you go with that, although there are a couple of things about these that suggest they are repro rather than original parts, so I don't know how much they'd be (if still available). Anyway, I'm concentrating on high labour (mine), low outlay jobs at the moment so I'll be putting up with them for now.

Thanks, yeah I saw those, but I need 12 so that's silly money and they are for a much thicker panel, I have found a few the right diameter, but all for a much thicker panel.

thinking 'out of the box' then how about these? like a core plug with a lip, you'd probably glue whatever in place regardless so they could work. a pack of 20 for £8.99 isn't bad, you could order just 1 to see if it'd do the job i guess.

A whole days work and two and a half cans of carb cleaner later I can start to think about putting it all back together. Good news is there's no sign of any ethanol induced corrosion...

Well I know I get distracted, but I can't quite believe it's been nearly 4 years since I posted (or in fact did) anything meaningful to the car
Having rebuilt the carb and got her running nicely again I just threw the front seats back in and started enjoying driving her again, and that's how it's been since then.
So, finally fed up tiptoeing round the rear seats stacked in the garage, trying not to lose all the (labelled) bags of bits and bobs I took off and my Wife 'reminding' me of the pile of door cards and rolls of fabric and foam left in her sewing room, I thought I should try and put her back together properly...
The old door cards were tatty (I think repro) and the 'stitched' (thermoformed ?) panels didn't match the wider stitching pattern of the seats.

So with more Vinyl and foam I marked out some new ones with a seat matching panel shape and omitting the carpet insert.

On initial sewing they looked a bit pony...

But with a new panel fitted and glued, not so bad.

Glued and wrapped, not fantastic, but better than the old ones and once I've cleaned up the chrome finishers and done something with the arm rests they might look OK.

Look good to me, I’d be happy with that. Where did you get the vinyl from? It looks very much like the colour I need for a job.

Well it was a long time ago, but I looked back through my old emails and I'm pretty sure it was from here:
